Halloween is exciting. the love of Halloween runs deep in the Untied States. Our love of costumes stems from this unique holiday. What kind of costumes do we like? The answer is: all kinds, especially those unique creations we see year after year especially around Halloween. Halloween is viewed as the biggest time of year for costumes, yet costumes are publicly displayed daily throughout the year for various other reasons. The idea for Costumes Gone Viral grew from a desire to share costume photos with others, mostly for laughs, however the more handmade costumes we see, the more we can appreciate the time and effort that goes into these works of art. The plan is to collect costume pictures into a gallery format, and let the visitors choose which costumes are the best using social media, email, and other forms of voting and rating.The site is designed to be a free experience for costumers to enjoy. We do sell costumes through some of the more popular retailers advertised at CGV but ther is no membership fee or any other fee to enjoy the costumes. We hope for maximum participation among the costuming community.
