Rate My Halloween Costume After I Post a Picture

I was hoping you could rate my Halloween costume on its originality, its construction, and its attention-grabbing level. That is why I post the picture in the first place. To hear the sound of praise regarding a custom-made Halloween costume is the payoff for a lot of hard work. The originality is thrilling because you always know others wish they thought of the idea first. At CGV, the concept is simple, we display your costume photos for rating and reviewing by other costumers. Although there is no cash reward for earning the highest rating or the most comments, it is a good feeling to know you have made an impact on someone.

So if I ask you to rate my Halloween costume, carefully consider your review, it does mean something. The chances of a low rated costume going viral are slim. In the coming weeks, CGV will be importing all the previously submitted costume photos into our new system here. Costumes Gone Viral will be in full swing well ahead of the busy time of year and the costuming community is looking forward to seeing more unique costume ideas submitted into the gallery. Check back often as we continue to grow.

We are hoping you will use this system to rate my Halloween costume later on this season. Exciting costumes are underway with some really unique detailing. The ideas never stop and the creativity has really only just begun.

Are Costumes a Way of Life for You?

There are those of us who have made costumes a way of life. We imagine costumes, we fabricate costumes, we showcase those costumes. Most just think of costuming at Halloween and I guess that’s just fine. But some creative souls concoct creative outfits year-round with no regard for the actual season. Others create costumes for a living. Whether or not you fall into either of these two categories, we would love to see your ideas as they come to life.

If you have created a custom costume, then we know you have photographed it (everyone does). Open an account here at CGV and showcase your creation. This is a great venue to display your hard work and get a little gratification out of it. Costuming is cool, always has been and always will be… Let’s see what you have created. Welcome to Costumes Gone Viral. This is the interactive costuming website that allows the general public an opportunity to showcase their creative costumes with the possibility of going viral. It’s a simple system that is still undergoing changes thanks to a new format. We encourage you to be patient as all the features become active and the community comes alive.

Over the past few years, I have tried a few different formats for this costume-themed  website and I am most confident that the photo blogging format will reign supreme over the standard costume photo gallery. The season of Halloween comes but once a year, but there are those who take costuming well beyond that season. Costumes Gone Viral encourages you to promote the fun of costuming any time of year.

The concept remains the same… we hope that the general public is enthusiastic about sharing their creations with others. This is done simply by posting a picture of your home-spun costume. The costuming community rules the roost when it comes to creativity not only at Halloween, but throughout the year.
